“Thankfully, we only stayed one night prior to a cruise. The hotel offered NO washcloths for bathing. In addition, they had very few employees (1-2) that were able to understand or speak English. I do understand it is a Spanish speaking country. However, for tourists it would be helpful to be able to communicate. The one bright spot was Sara, she was the hotel’s transportation person. She was very pleasant and helpful.”
“Unfortunately never found the hotel as the map locator was 15 miles away. Looked for an hour on the map locator and couldn't find. Hopefully they fixed it now. DO NOT GO TO PORTOBELO village to find this hotel. Maps wrong.”
“Hotel Andros is a nice hotel--well kept and managed. It is in a rough portion of the city. But, the rooms were spacious and clean. The A/C worked well in the rooms. The only thing is that the A/C is not out in the common areas. The convenient access to the attached restaurant is a very nice plus and it is in a very convenient location for those needing to access the center of Colon.”
