"Great ocean views from our balcony, beautiful grounds, hot tub, ok breakfast, comfortable beds, only lack was a couch, but they had 2 chairs. The check in girl helped me carry bags upstairs- no elevator"

"We had a wonderful time staying at this property. If you enjoy staring at the river and taking lazy afternoon naps, this is your spot. We were impressed with how very clean the property is even for a dog friendly location. We loved walking our dogs around the field across the road and exploring Puget Island. The kitchen is well appointed and well laid out. We were able to cook a couple of nice meals during our stay. The beds are comfortable, we both slept like rocks! We had many animal sightings. Canadian geese, seals, osprey, a bald eagle, a beaver (maybe?), raccoons fishing by the waters edge (very entertaining) and a flock of pelicans roosting on a small island just across the river from our deck. We counted one boat that passed by our place for the entire weekend when we were there. Incredibly relaxing and private! Comfy all around. We will gladly stay here again!"

"It was cozy and nicely kept up. The bathroom and shower area was exceptional and luxurious. It's walkable to town, which we liked, but it's a bit of a hike (20-25ish mins on foot, each way). The only downside we didn't foresee was it's proximity to the main road, which made it quite noisy during all daytime hours. The host was super communicative and clearly takes good care of this space. The bedding and mattress were some of the best I've experienced in a rental!"

"We stayed three nights at this top-floor rental. It met our needs perfectly. Michael is a great Host. We were using it as a base for kayaking in the Columbia River. It's an excellent place for that. We loved the community of Cathlamet, which is just a short drive away. It's a cute town. We also took the ferry across the Columbia that leaves Puget Island every hour. We will be back again."
