“We stayed for two weeks and the property was the perfect place to stay on the North Shore. The property has everything you need for your stay. It is very open planned and with the windows open a refreshing breeze blows through. It is also located beside the beach, which from what we could make out only has residents of the area there. Parking was never an issue to find on the street. It takes about 15 minute drive to beautiful Haleiwa and around 50 mins to an hour to Honolulu. We couldn’t……

“It was the perfect size for me and my spouse. There was construction happening during business hrs, but they weren’t too loud. We loved how close the cottage was to the beach. The lanai was the best part: eating our meals with the ocean breeze. If we had to complain about something, we would say that it does get warm in the cottage. We understand many places in hawaii don’t have ac units, so we knew what we had coming. We tried leaving all the windows open to let the air flow through, so it……

“We had the absolute best stay here! It’s a quiet location with an amazing beach steps away and driving distance from other breathtaking beaches. We saw turtles right next to us on the beach. The sunrise view from the beds here are amazing. It does get a little warm but with the fans and windows open it was fine, even in mid July. Check out Kaya’s market (5 min walk) for great local breakfast or lunch! 2 min drive to coffee cove which was also amazing. There is everything you need for a beach day……

“Koi Palms has it all—cozy comfort with lovely decor, koi pond just outside the windows with beautiful fish and the calming sound of falling waters, shady parking beside a private gate, quiet and well-tended neighborhood, easy 5-10 walk to both the beach and Kailua town, and, finally, very friendly and helpful owners on site. Grab it if you can!”

“From the moment we greeted the ocean at the beginning of our stay to the moment we bid goodbye to the Wai'anae Mountains at the end of our stay, my husband and I experienced the most enchanting getaway of our lives. The location was absolutely beautiful; we saw sea turtles and sea cucumbers and crabs hanging on the sea wall. The sunrises and the sunsets were magnificent. “We had an amazing stay in Kailua. We loved the area that had a beautiful beach nearby (walking distance), many shopping and food options with a small town feel, and very responsive and helpful hosts. Driving to all the other attractions on the island were only 30 minutes to an hour away. The lanai was a favorite spot to sit and relax enjoying the plumeria and other beautiful plants and birds. Rick and Nancy provided beach chairs, bicycles, cooler, and a grill in addition to a well furnished home……

The house is about as convenient to both Lanikai and Kailua as you can get, easy walk or bike to both. It is a perfect combination of relaxed decor, cleanliness and amenities. “Such a wonderful spot! From check in to checkout, this home base made for an extra special and easy trip. The studio feels spacious, well ventilated, and it was sparkling clean upon arrival. The host thought of everything you could need for beach outings or staying in. The bed is a great size and comfortable! The location is perfect, because you can walk to the beach, or walk in to town, so we barely needed the car if you like walking. There is great AC but you barely need it with the amazing……
