Above and beyond doesn't justify the service and experience you will have with Wendy. She's very attentive, responds quickly, gives suggestions and ideas of things to do and places to eat while your there for your stay, and if you're lucky like me, you'll get to go home with some home-grown vegetables handpicked from her garden! This was perfect for our anniversary, but we will definitely be returning any time we need another peaceful weekend away. This was a little piece of Heaven on earth and I'm so happy we found it!"

"Stumbled upon this property by accident and it was a delightful stay. The weather did not cooperate, but it was certainly fun to be at the safari with the other property amenities. The cabin was simple and well-appointed for our party of 3. The lady working the front desk was very pleasant. We used the game room in the evening. We will visit again and ideally the weather will be better. Check out this unique plance."

"This place is full of love and you can feel it from the moment you step foot on the front porch. This rustic charm was great for a team of missionaries serving those in chains. We had team builders and unplugged and rested and it all felt so great and peaceful. The beds here were truly so comfortable according to everyone that stayed, not just me. The rustic touches all over the property just make this perfect. I love the hot tub and the pool, we didn't use the gym much but the equipment in there looked decent. The bridge was beautiful and we loved how it lead to the fire pit. Suggestions would be more front porch rocking chairs as well as several more on the back porch. But that is about it, everything else is just about perfect. Could there be more modern upgrades added over time? Sure. But I think it would take away from its natural beauty and Texas charm. We can't wait to go back again and again and again. We loved it so much our lead pastors are planning a family stay soon as well."

"This was our second time staying at this property. This is an amazing place to stay if you love all things nature. The property is absolutely beautiful. We hiked and hiked and hiked. The kids had so much fun hunting for antlers and fossils, playing in the creek, and trying to sneak up on the deer to get a closer look."
