"Great location for visiting National Trust houses and the Bluebell Line trains. Room had everything we could want and was in a very quiet area. Our host Lindsay was very friendly and welcoming. Excellent breakfast too. We will definitely stay here again when next in the area."

"The room was OK, but finding the hotel and finding the room within the hotel were both very difficult. They also asked for an additional card checking fee before check-in, though thankfully they waived this when we queried it. The remote check in made the start of the stay very stressful, but once we were in it was fine. There are some lovely period features in the property, but some of the paneling is actually wallpaper!"
