The room was quite nice. However the bar right across the street had their sound system blaring loudly!! We tried to reach the hotel manager but they didn't respond. We talked to the bar manager, at midnight, but they continued blasting the music. We phoned the police. Finally at 1am the music stopped but we were so wide awake from all this annoyance and dealing with this, that we finally fell asleep at 2am. The next day, the front desk worker offered no empathy and said we should accept that bars are there. I told him that they should warn people when they reserve so they know. How are out of town guests supposed to know this otherwise. I would not return to this place.

We were pleasantly surprised & the rate was good. Location was the best. Everything you needed was there. Toilet didnt flush well, bathroom heater was laying on the floor, and tiles were cracked and things werent the best, but the location made up for it. The restaurant below must have vented to the bathroom as it smelled like curry!

We were looking for a hotel close to Old Quebec City that wasn't outrageously priced. This was perfect. The room was huge. It even had an electric fireplace! There was a small fridge. On our last day, we discovered there was a microwave by the vending machine. They have free wifi. We had short walks to the places we wanted to see. They do have paid parking out back, but spots are limited. I highly recommend it!

Quaint boutique hotel w exposed brick and hardwood floors.. bathroom is modern, location right in middle of restaurant row and walking distance to Vieux Quèbec, and parking behind hotel, which u need when they close off Grande Allée for city festivals.. we were there for the FEL music fest, parking is limited in the rear of hotel, but we just didn’t move the car until departure.. Also, during fest, they pretty much turn the restaurant row into an outdoor dance club w DJs, so if you’re a nite owl, u can dance in your room too.. overall great hotel and above all, location location!!!

We checked out within an hour of check in. The property is in terrible condition - nothing like the pictures. Sheets and towels were stained, dust and dirt all over the floor and baseboards. We told them we were travelling with children and when we arrived (later than expected) the sofa bed had no linen except a badly stained mattress cover. The worst part? No air conditioning (despite what the property description provided for). Thankfully, the Expedia team sorted out a full refund and we went somewhere else for the night! The woman at the front desk was very pleasant and helpful on check-in but the front desk closed at 11pm so we had little interaction with the staff. My recommendation? Find somewhere else to stay!

Had a terrible sleep both nights. The air conditioner made a very loud squeezing noise rhe entire night but had to be on because otherwise the room was extremely stuffy. Bad spot facing back alley and garbage bins so could not open the window. Room unimpressive. Bed also had issues. Great location.

To be clear, it was a shock to compare the reality of the hotel with the photos posted in the hotel's photo gallery on Expedia. The website photos seem to portray an artistic vision of a very distant past. There was red mold (really dangerous) on the walls inside the shower, also, the showerhead (very dirty...) had black mold and the water was spraying everywhere. The furniture, besides being old, was unusable because the drawers were jammed or didn't open properly. We didn't have room service (later I found out this service needed to be requested in advance). The only advantage of this hotel is its walking distance to Old Town. Too expensive for what this hotel actually offers.

The accessibility was very good to old downtown and parks and neighborhood was beautiful but the hotel itself could have better accommodation with that price. For example to have better cleaning service, laundry and tub.

The shower had moldy grout and the refrigerator was full of the previous occupants leftovers. It’s an old building so I expect some noise but it was a bit much to hear people running up and down the stairs at 4am. The staff was very sweet.

Large room with sitting area and bathroom kept in the original boarding room style. Can open the windows onto the street which was nice when weather was good. Original doors mean that you can hear people in the hallway. There were a large group of young people booked in on our second night and staff didn't ask them to be quiet. Kept us up all night with their partying.
