You're spoiled for sightseeing choice when visiting Queens. Queensbridge Park is a good place to begin here, but there are numerous other worthwhile sights to enjoy. Times Square, Broadway, and Grand Central Terminal are not far from the recreation and green space and will fill in your day nicely.

I did not use any of the amenities because the lobby furniture was so filthy. There was no desire to sit and work from the co working areas. The bed was clean but very minimal carpet with stained badly. Definitely was not worth the cost in some ways. It was like staying at a youth hostel. Nothing against the staff they were very friendly of interacted with literally only used the place to sleep at night.
