“My room was very noisy. Loud music from other shops at 5:00 am. The same from late afternoon until 10:00 pm. The roof terrace was under construction. The staff are very friendly, and the room is very clean.”

“Location amazing. had a lovely room overlooking the square”

“The room was clean, so I had no issues there. However, it was disappointing that the breakfast was of a lower standard compared to other hotels I have stayed at.”

“The temperature of the sauna and hot tube was nice and hot. The views from the rooftop patio and rooftop restaurant were stunning.”

“Todo me gustó, las personas del hotel son muy amables”

“We stayed 10 days and the staff was excellent, very helpful. Room was clean and the wifi worked perfect. The breakfasts were absolutely fantastic and varied a little every day.”

“WiFi was decent but did break up sometimes. Friendly staff but often didn’t have information such as once I asked about laundry and the staff wasn’t sure and didn’t try to help and find out. It’s a budget hostel, good value for the money in the city historic center. You can walk alone at night u til about 830-9pm. Uber is plentiful. Decent traditional restaurants around within walking distance. Hostel is quiet except for the construction - so be mindful if you take naps or sleep in behind 8am.……

“The first night was terrible, I got a room with a terrible smell I got a bad headache, therefore I requested to change my room. The gentleman who worked at night was very friendly and helpful. I got an upgraded room for the same price. The lady who worked during the day (Karla) was very friendly and helped us referring good restaurants near the hotel and things to do in Quito.”

“This hotel was perfect for our family trip to Ecuador to attend my daughter’s wedding. We took almost all of the rooms and the service, breakfasts, help in arranging taxis, was exceptional. The view from the rooftop is fabulous as well! The rooms were very large and comfortable. We would absolutely stay here again.”

“Super nice, Jordy helped me a lot thank you guys I’ll see you soon”

“早餐不錯，有已經切好不同款式的水果供應，酒店員工服務親切 不過我住的酒店房間可能靠近街道，所以聲音比較嘈吵（通常晚上12點至到五點就平靜）”

“A very comfortable well maintained historic hotel in a perfect location only steps away from independence plaza. The staff are very friendly and super helpful. A tip: get them to organise your airport transfer for US $30 (pay them directly). Breakfast was good with choices.”

“The hotel was great for what we needed for a night and the price was very affordable. Staff were very nice and happily switched us to an inside facing room to avoid the traffic noise below. It’s an older style hotel located just two blocks from the main area so super easy to walk to all of the activities.”

“A Little Treasure in the Heart of Old Quito Some places you stay, and some places you remember. Hotel Casa Ecuatreasures is the second kind. Tucked into a lovingly restored historic home in Quito’s Centro Histórico, this small hotel has a warmth that no grand resort could match. With just a handful of rooms, it feels less like checking in and more like being welcomed into someone’s home: cozy, quiet, and full of character. Every corner feels authentic, and the city’s treasures are just steps……

“We are so pleased and happy with our time in Hotel Sucre. The staff is top of the line, everyone was very happy to help out and make us comfortable was their main goal. Location is supreme, restaurant food was amazing, rooms were very clean and comfortable, the balcony looking out to the main Plaza is amazing. Gabriel and his staff are amazing. Definitely this is the best option in the historical center. DO NOT SPEND DOUBLE THE MONEY IN HOTEL GARGOTENAS, IS NOT WORTH IT.”
