"Its a pub with rooms not a chain hotel so that's what to expect. Very handy for the town and the nearby air base.

"Unique property, room 8 was lovely with view over the gardens. Comfy bed & traditional furniture. Amazing bathroom, with bath and nice toiletries. No dining facilities other than breakfast and bar was closed for private event during our stay. Breakfast room was very opulent, good choice of breakfast cooked to order. "The Packhorse Inn was a very pleasant inn to stay at for my business trip! The room itself was well air conditioned and the amenities were very comfortable. Any extras needed such as ironing board, etc were readily available from the staff. Had breakfast and supper multiple evenings of my trip and always enjoyed them throughly. Generous portions and reasonable pricing. The inn itself is located next to a quiet and quaint village which is a short few minute drive into Newmarket which is loaded with eateries and walking areas. All very nice due to the presence of the racehorse facilities surrounding the area. Would highly recommend the packhorse for business or a couples getaway. "

"A lovely little building in Mildenhall. Certainly an historic building, and comes with the quirks of its age, but the team has done a brilliant job of adapting and making it up to date. Missing shampoo, and no hair dryer, but the bed was great and the shower fantastic. Kettle and tea bits were all I really needed :-). "

"The staff here is truly wonderful! As there is no elevator, they helped us to take our bags upstairs to our rooms. I was working a good portion of our trip and the wifi here was great. The employees offered suggestions on places we could walk to visit in the town and made sure to let us know if the pub kitchen was closing in case we wanted to order."
