Relax in the comfy living room that’s cozy and modern , walk through and marvel at the central hallway with the amazing original woodwork and 10 ft tall ceilings! Guests can enjoy the second bedroom with queen bed , fireplace mantle and office area. The hall bath has a modern twist on a classic bath with subway tile and the original claw foot tub /shower to enjoy! And let’s not forget the huge screened in porch , and the adorable rocking chair front porch with a charming porch swing and the fenced in pet friendly back yard and deck for grilling!!

Perfect house within walking distance to downtown
We loved our stay. The house is very clean and everything looks new. The location is very convenient, we walked downtown for lunch. There is even a cute restaurant about 3 houses away. We enjoyed our stay with friends and will stay again the next time we are in Raleigh. The host was very nice.

Great stay in Raleigh!
We love everything about this home - location in historic oakwood in downtown Raleigh, the backyard, the screen room, the layout of the home , remodeled bathrooms and comfy beds. It is a great neighborhood for walking and close to everything downtown but in a quiet residential neighborhood. Be sure to check out some of the local restaurants and coffee shops!
