Rattlesnake Island Vacations from $782

This is not a property I could recommend for anyone. The bathroom and room did not have any place to hang clothes or towels! I found this extremely difficult especially on the OCEAN! I used the ironing board to hang our clothes from! The only 2 ice machines were on a different level and very far from our room. The pool was even worse. It was down a steep hill and the material surrounding the pool was extremely rough under the feet. In the back of the property there were many Canadian Geese (they are not friendly) and there was no fence to keep them out. So, they drove us out of the 2 chairs that were there and we had to avoid their feces which covered the lawn area. The breakfast was not very kid friendly or anyone with allergies.

This hotel is amazing. The rooms, beds, and all the details are so incredible. I wish I could have stayed longer. Check in was a breeze as well. You can tell they take a lot of care and thought into the property. I will definitely be back

It was our first time visiting Portland, and the Evalina exceeded our expectations. The location is perfect, right on Commercial Street, with plenty of restaurants and shops nearby. The ferry and cruise ports are also just a 5–10 minute walk away, making it easy to visit the different islands. The suite was comfortable and thoughtfully equipped with everything we could need, including an umbrella for rainy days, coffee and a French press, tea, a washer and dryer, and so much more. Communication was excellent throughout our stay as well. We truly enjoyed our visit, and the next time we’re in Portland, the Evalina will be our first choice!

The front desk was not very friendly. Our room felt wet when we walked in. Bathroom had dust falling from the drop ceiling. Cleaners were upon request only and when we did request it, they didn’t take any trash so when we came back the room smelled. There was no ventilation and it was in the corner of the building. No parking for guests besides Vallet which consists of a parking area right beside the hotel they could have allowed people to park at on their own. Our car was returned with a bent license plate and vallet looked inside the vehicle while we unloaded and asked questions about what we had in our car. Very unprofessional and we would not stay here again.
