“The first contact was not good. The person that checked us in was rude and seemed perturbed that we were there. Did not tell us where the stairs were located so when I went back to get info, she stated that it where the green door is. I am red-green colorblind so this was not helpful and she stated the door had stairs written on it, which it does not. Room was fine but the bathroom is way too small and it might be nice for the place to indicate the hot water is boiling.😊. Breakfast was……

“Our room faced the river. It was serene as could be. The place was charming as could be. Everyone there seemed so happy. It was like stepping back in time. Red River is gorgeous. So affordable compared to Colorado. We will be returning often.”

“You all need to note that if people have weak feet or knees and get up at night to urinate often for older people Auslander Condos need to suggest a 1 Level Room. We had to sleep on the Sleeper Sofa. Employees should paint walking paths early morning. There are no plugs in the bathroom to curl hair and shave. Outdoor grounds are beautiful. Quiet time should be extended.”

“Right next to lift 1 at the base, where there are chairs to sit and enjoy the view. Comfortable room with full kitchen. Just what I was looking for, a quiet, cool place to escape the heat and do some hiking. If you’ve never done it, Williams Lake is my favorite hike in New Mexico. Prior to July 4 (and maybe after) the restaurants at the ski area are only open Th-Sun. So if you don’t bring food, you have to drive back to Taos.”
