“I was pleasantly surprised at this hotel. It was sparkling clean, they have real coffee cups in the room, and breakfast was made to order eggs waffles and bacon. Beautiful setting and they made the most of what they had. I would stay there again and would recommend. The bathroom is small, upstairs rooms require stairs but beautiful setting and walking distance to everything.”

“The property was being rennovated so there was the typical challenges with construction and maintianing a business. Room was recently refurbished and clean but not well furnished. Perhaps this will happen later. The shower was wonderful!!! Parking was a challenge but again construction took some of the space. Room was priced fairly for the inconvenience. Manager was very friendly and helpful.”

“Loved the fact that the Alpine Lodge is literally in the middle of town and makes for super convenient walking to shops, stores, restaurants and all other fun, mountain activities. Super beautiful main ski mountain right there by the lodge too. Spectacular mountain views!”

“You all need to note that if people have weak feet or knees and get up at night to urinate often for older people Auslander Condos need to suggest a 1 Level Room. We had to sleep on the Sleeper Sofa. Employees should paint walking paths early morning. There are no plugs in the bathroom to curl hair and shave. Outdoor grounds are beautiful. Quiet time should be extended.”

“Right next to lift 1 at the base, where there are chairs to sit and enjoy the view. Comfortable room with full kitchen. Just what I was looking for, a quiet, cool place to escape the heat and do some hiking. If you’ve never done it, Williams Lake is my favorite hike in New Mexico. Prior to July 4 (and maybe after) the restaurants at the ski area are only open Th-Sun. So if you don’t bring food, you have to drive back to Taos.”

“Clean and renovated room, good coffee in room, nice restaurant and bar on the property. The staff was very overwhelmed at dinner time. They need to hire more staff for the restaurant and honestly for the property in general. I needed an iron and the front desk told me I had to wait over an hour for housekeeping to arrive to have them bring me an iron.”
