We really loved our stay at The Dean in Cork. The hotel had a fun, stylish feel and the room had several great touches. The shower was excellent, the minibar had a great selection, and we enjoyed using the vintage-style radio to connect our phone and play music. We also stopped by the rooftop for breakfast, which was a great way to start the day. The location was very convenient as well, especially since it was only about a five-minute walk to the train station the morning we left. Overall, this was one of our favorite stays and we would happily stay here again.

Rooms were on 3rd floor and only 1 room of the 2 we got had a fan. Windows only open slightly and unfortunately it was in the 80s when we were there. I would ask if there is a fan in your room for sure.

There is a parking lot around the corner which is helpful in a really busy town. The unit itself is a bit worn and tired but handles basic needs. The shower is very unique and there were no instructions as to how to turn it on. The owner let us know once we reached him. The shower itself is poor. Very little pressure. On a positive note, the owners are friendly and helpful. Great, great location!

Scenery and staff were beyond excellent

Great location. Place was clean. Unfortunately the washer didn’t work and was told it wasn’t a current option to use The property manager only communicates through WhatsApp which you don’t know until he doesn’t reply to any emails and you finally call and it’s on his voicemail. He was very attentive once we communicated via WhatsApp. Download the app and don’t expect to use wash machine and after that you have a great place to stay. Our unit did have small steps to go up and down to get into the place.
