Enjoyed our one night stay. Beautiful property right on the water. Great free breakfast. Pretty pool with plenty of loungers. Enjoyed being able to walk across the road for delicious seafood at the Boiling Pot. Would highly recommend and wish we could have stayed longer.

Con: Bathroom sink was completely clogged. Easily noticeable by housecleaning. I used one of the coffee cups to agitate the water in the drainage pipe and was able to breakup the clog myself. Refugio is my home town; and I was there to attend a multi-class high school reunion. I was saddened to see how Hurricane Harvey changed Refugio for the worst 2 years ago. Do not expect convenience shopping. It's primarily a gas stop for truckers.
