“Lodge style accommodation. No A/C or ceiling fan, so the room was a bit stuffy for sleeping. Rear window screen was broken, so could only use the front and bathroom windows for ventilation. Room was clean, provided shampoo but no conditioner. Bed and pillows okay. Probably would not stay here again during warm months due to lack of a/c or ceiling fan.”

Built more than 100 years ago, you see hand-hewn beams supporting the second floor, floors made up of varying-width boards, rooms large enough for their intended purpose without empty space. We were both intrigued and overwhelmed by the vast differences in home building then and now. That era saw families and neighbors coming together to fill a need. Everyone pitched in, bringing whatever expertise they had, to get the job done. All of the basics are provided,……

It was a beautiful sight to wake up to out the primary bedroom sliding glass doors.The home is a quaint Adirondack home with every cooking utensil and appliances one could possibly need; perfect for home cooking, if desired. “We had such a wonderful time glamping on this property. The tent was very spacious and so cozy, everything was kept very clean and I never saw a single bug inside. We decided to try the wood fire pizza they offered for dinner and got to watch her make the whole thing, also found out she built that oven herself, very impressive! The pizza was delicious and we got to meet the other campers over dinner which was really nice. Afterwards we sat around the bonfire and enjoyed looking at the stars and……
