What had begun as a lackluster stay, quickly turned into a nice stay. After stating my displeasure with my husband and I having to put up with sleeping in separate beds, the desk staff quickly remedied the situation. The helpfulness and friendliness of the Day Desk staff really made this a nice stay, and the hot maintenance man helped a lot.

We stayed here one night, checked in at around 6 PM left at around 10 AM, that is 16 hours. The tap was leaking constantly, at a rate of approx. 1/4 gallon every minute and a half, say 2 minutes. While checking this by stopwatch and an ice-bucket, I killed a cockroach and a fly, the mold on the bath tub, that's obviously how long this tap had been leaking (!), disgusted me and obviously the cleaners gave up, as maintenance is not available! What started as a simple washer replacement has now become a major issue.... 16 hrs times 60 min is 960 minutes, divided by 2 is 480 quarter gallons, divided by 4 is 120 gallons of water straight down the gurgler! During our stay alone! In one single room! And we don't blame maintenance or cleaners, this is a management problem, because they set the tone! I thought that water was a scarce commodity in CA and if that doesn't bother them, I wonder if the waterbill does at all? Avoid this place, they apparently do not care about anything! Disgusting!

I stayed for 2.5 months and the entire staff was amazing. The housekeeping staff was extremely attentive and always made sure to ask if I needed anything. I will definitely stay again.
