The Yankee Clipper Inn is a throwback to the past in the best sense. The grounds and the Inn itself were so very peaceful and just invited you to slow down, enjoy the beautiful view and the atmosphere. The staff was warm and inviting and seemed to really enjoy being there. The breakfasts were fun and delicious and set the tone for the rest of day in quiet and elegant fashion. We will certainly stay there again if in that area and will be telling our family about it so that hopefully they too can someday enjoy it.

Made to order breakfast was very nice . And wait staff was very helpful and pleasant.
I wish we knew ahead of time about the spiral narrow staircase to our room as seniors 😦, also a two step up and down to get into bathroom was risky.
Very nice getaway, a great location in proximity to Rockport and area attractions we visited Hammond Castle, Rockport Village, Castle Hill, and Halibut Point State Park.
Breakfast was delicious and staff great, our room and view were excellent. Only two negatives , the pool was under construction, and because it was a weekday the bar/lounge was closed. But overall an awesome stay and would definitely would stay again.
Great stay at the Yankee Clipper Inn. Such a cute hotel which is beautifully designed and kept. One of the best breakfasts I’ve had at a hotel. I think our server’s name was Claire and she was an absolute doll. Would highly recommend this hotel.

The view of the ocean from the room was spectacular, and the staff particularly Cameron and Allison were so helpful and friendly! The room was spacious and very comfortable. I would highly recommend the inn.
The breakfast was excellent and staff friendly and helpful. The property has great views of Rockport and the surrounding area. We stayed in-the Bullfinch house which is historic. Famous architect of the past.
The view from all areas was stunning. I stayed in the quarter deck and it was perfect. It wasn’t a hard walk over to the big house for breakfast and evening drinks.
Mike & Cassandra and the staff made our stay just perfect!

The pool is being renovated, so it’s was closed. One reason why I booked as it’s really hot weather. Expedia needs to keep updated. Hot Lobby no elevators or any help up the stairs. I was on 3rd floor. Dirty carpeting on stairs and hallway. Room smelled of cigarettes, checked to see if they could change room and the person I spoke with said she had just been in room and didn’t smell anything and offered to spray some air fresh. I declined as I have asthma. Later as I was stepping out to eat, same person offered a different room on a sister property across the street. Evermore steeper dirtier carpeted stairs led to a room that smelled super musty, I decided to stick with the devil I know cigarette smelling room. It was clean and had a shared balcony with an ocean view. Bed was ‘saggy’ with really worn bedding. Overall, I was disappointed with this stay. Oh and it was super expensive, given holiday. Which makes not having pool worse…
