Vacation to Rockwall

This location is close to the airport terminal which was convenient. However, I found my room to be very noisy. I could hear people running in the hallways and doors slamming closed. I also didn't find the staff particularly friendly. The one person who was very nice, (and seemed to really like his job) was the bartender/server at the Aloft bar. He was professional and had a great attitude. I loved the tacos I ordered as well.

The carpet was filthy in the rooms and so were the chairs and ottoman. The carpet in the lobby should be changed or cleaned. It was also hard to add an extra night the staff had different opinion on how to add the extra night. I left card for incidental but when room service came I had to pay cash or give them my card to go charge. Ridiculous

Bed was hard Pillows too soft, they flatten to nothing when you lay on them, fortunately we had our own pillows along.

AMAZING PROPERTY!! Friendly staff! Very accommodating !! Traveled all over the USA and the staff here is the BEST!! Would NOT recommend the breakfast buffet at Rictta(?) restaurant VERY BLAND and SUPER EXPENSIVE for nothing.. Yolk across the street is sooo much better and at a better price point! .. Outside of the dining.. one of the BEST hotels I have EVER stayed at!! The kindest hospitality staff, bartenders, concierge, Room attendance, vallet I have experienced!!
