Upon check in I was told that they started doing their weekend breakfast buffet, which ended up being a very limited choice $19 breakfast not so much buffet. McDonald’s would have been more satisfying than the semi cold breakfast they were serving. I liked the layout of the room a lot more than the unsatisfactory view on the “lanai” which was a huge plant, and not so much of a nice view of the parking lot. The decor of the hotel itself could use a more modern upgrade, considering the property itself is over 15 years old. They definitely need more trained staff in the bar which was horrible, as they only had one guy running the food service and the bar at the same time, and when he had a day off, they had one of their kitchen staff take his place in the bar, and she wasn’t even a bartender, she couldn’t even make a proper Bloody Mary, I ended up getting my money back, which didn’t sit well with the kitchen staff “bartender”, because it tasted horrible. I most definitely won’t be staying there again. I would have expected better decor and service overall considering it is owned by the Hilton chain of hotels.
