"Lovely unit in a quiet complex with a great dock for lake access. Dock has covered seating so there is shade. Appreciate the thoughtful touches - a few snacks, ice, charging cords. Would be happy to stay here again hopefully when it is a little cooler."

Tru is always exactly what you need, with things you haven't thought of before. I love the water bottle fill, the thoughtful breakfast bar, and the gaming/hangout options available. I wish we could have stayed longer to enjoy more of it!

I travel to Clinton NC once a month. If I decide to stay at a hotel, the Inn of Clinton is always my preference and they always live up to my expectations. The manager Nikki is very pleasant and helpful. Her customer service skills are superior. She went above and beyond to check me in for my mom's 100th birthday in Clinton this weekend and I enjoyed my stay as usual. All the staff here are exceptional at what they do, very pleasant and accommodating.

Beautiful hotel, front desk staff (the only staff we encountered) was very kind and helpful. She gave us delicious warm cookies for each of us during check in. Room was immaculate and beds were super comfy. The “feel” of the room was relaxing. Wonderful experience and we will definitely stay at double tree again in the future.

Everything was wonderful from the front desk to the breakfast. I have never seen such friendly staff even the maintenance man. All ask if we needed anything and seemed genuine. The rooms and hotel are well decorated and the beds were comfortable. We will definitely stay here again!

I want to precursor the rest of this review by saying that I hardly ever leave reviews. So take this SERIOUS!!! As a single momma to two little ones, along with a pup, I was extremely EXHAUSTED arriving at the hotel after driving from NY in a torrential rain storm for 8 hours straight. However, from the minute I entered the hotel, I couldn’t have been more relaxed, comfortable and happy. Ms. Stephanie at the front desk is by far the most amazing human being I have ever met!!!
