"I booked cabin blind in jan for my 50th birthday trip in April 2024. I had not been to kentucky since a youngster. My real father's family is from Beattyville but not many are still there. My great aunt turned 102 recently. My grand dad passed away years ago when I was 20 something living in California so i did not get to go to funeral. As i was driving tp cabin following the GPS i see a grave yard on the way. Something told me to turn in. I looked around and saw familiar last name- Olivervl like mine! I called my aunt in Ohio and asked where is granddaddy's grave? She said Evans cemetery. I look at sign that was exactly where i was. So i found him and had a profound moment- tears washing across my cheeks. The cabin is literally across the street and up the hillside from grandaddy !!!!! This cabin is the closest cabin I could rent off VRBO to him. I am serious when i say i know nothing of the area and knew nothing about this cabin except it was adorable in pics and reminded me of a "tree house". Well my grandaddy had built me a treehouse on the farm over near st helens Ky when I was a child. So coincidence that I rented this cabin from you on VRBO and not any of the other 50 i looked at in area ?? I think not!!! Serendipity...... Thank you for being part of this wonderful experience and im officially saying that thulis cabin is my favorite place in kentucky i will return soon again and again and again for the rest of my life."

"Very pleased with this stay! Communication and check in were great. Cabin is exactly how it’s listed, clean and comfortable. Beds were comfortable and set up to cook a few meals. Very peaceful. Would return!!"

"We came "from the city" with our four sons for some R&R in the Red River Gorge and staying at Serenity Falls was the highlight of our trip. The seclusion and nature was a welcome retreat and our boys had a blast exploring the property! My 8, 10, and 16 year old's climbed around the canyon, played in the creek, and felt like they were in a movie set. My 13 year old (who is a little less outdoorsy) loved just hanging out in the hot tub, or sitting in the chairs by the fire. There was something for everyone! Not to mention the cabin was a short distance from Miguel's Pizza (a fun pizza place with a bball court for the kids to play), and the Rock House which served up some of the best burgers we've ever eaten. We hope to make another visit to Serenity Falls!"

"The cabin was great. Very spacious and could have add another family with us. Plenty of supplies. Bought fire wood but the wind was too high to safely have a fire. Close to trails and had the feeling of seclusion we wanted. Would absolutely stay again!!!"

"My family and I had a wonderful time relaxing and reconnecting at this cozy cabin in the mountains! It is close enough to all the features at Red River Gorge, yet well off of the beaten path. The host, Patrick was very responsive and even helped us book an additional night. We truly enjoyed our stay and would recommend this place to anyone."
