“Lovely hotel, beautiful old main house with wood fires, panelled rooms, lots of lounges and spots to relax. Friendly reception and clean modern rooms in the mews. Plus two cats! Only thing to mention is that the signs for the outbuildings were a bit difficult to see when we arrived (in the dark & heavy rain), maybe they could be illuminated too? Otherwise a nice place to stay, we would like to go back and explore more of the history, grounds, bunker and restaurant.”

“This price is not worth it. We booked one night, when we arrived at the hotel, there keycard system something wrong, we got the room without keycard for few hours, really inconvenient. We went to swimming pool, though the door without keycard, so we can’t entre, we back to reception again, after that we were waiting for the leisure reception staff a long time, really angry about it.”

“Not the biggest room, but bright, fresh & clean. I was in the converted roof area with velux windows. Nice shower (no bath option), lovely warm towel rail at all times, and L’Occitane products. Room has a smart tv with Netflix, a safe, ironing board & iron, good hairdryer, still & sparkling water & tea & coffee making facilities. There is a temp control with fan. Nice quiet room with a very comfortable bed & pillows. There are electric blackout blinds at the windows, but a light that comes……
