From Salinas, the city of San Sebastian is 50 miles (80 kilometers) to the northwest.
It's recommended not to limit your sightseeing to the attractions of Salinas because the surrounding region has been endowed with a wealth of terrific natural and man-made attractions. Aguas Buenas, is 20 miles (32 kilometers) to the southwest, and Naranjito sits 20 miles (32 kilometers) to the south.
When you are ready to venture further afield check out the nearest regional center. Ponce lays 25 miles (40 kilometers) away and is home to attractions such as El Vigia Hill, Vicens Coliseum and El Museo Castillo Serralles. Ponce has plenty to offer travelers happy to explore a little deeper. Plaza of Delights (Plaza de las Delicias), Museum of the Ponce Massacre and Museo de Arte de Ponce are some of the other places guaranteed to delight.
