Highly overpriced dated hotel under constructionPosted Aug 25, 2015
I had a business meeting at the Hyatt, so I figured I would just spend the night after a cross-country flight. I was surprised that the room was $380/night. I mean this is St. Regis / Four Seasons money. Boy how disappointed I was. The hotel is livable, don't get me wrong, but it's more like a $120/night at best. It's old, the rooms are dated, the food ($20 for breakfast buffet) is doubletree / days inn quality, the common areas look tired. It's just a sad place. So my advice, if you have a meeting at SFO or even at the Hyatt, stay elsewhere.

Hotel is outdated, too expensive surely garagePosted Aug 23, 2015
Location: Near the airport but near industrial zone.....
We booked 3 nights which is not average. For The payed price the service at the desk is terrible!!!!Hottel is well situated near airport. 25 $ extra for the car in garage is not done for clients... Also when you arrive there is no place for a short stay of the car, to register in the hotel. The fact we booked through expedia (X3) , we had to face that every question we asked was to much and blocked off by staff. You need at each moment to tip people for everything ... The lady at the info desk was weird and in bad mood, she was very rude answering a question about the shuttle bus. For the price range we think there must be better service with a smile.... We had to bear our luggage out of the garage, no elevator working....(after ten days when we came back it still was not repared !!!)

Convenient hotel to SFO airport.Posted Aug 23, 2015
Pros: Convenience to SFO.
Cons: Pool area
Location: Close to SFO, but not bayfront
Upscale hotel with frequent shuttles to SFO airport. Has more corporate / convention atmosphere than family. Large outside pool but little pool furniture and few umbrellas. Had to walk through meeting rooms hallway to get to pool.

Convenient shuttle service to and from SFO airportPosted Aug 23, 2015
Pros: Free and frequent shuttle to airport. Good rate when turned up as mystery hotel.
Cons: more frequent shuttle to shops. Less steep rate for parking overnight.
Location: Not much to do nearby. Bayshore walk is short and cut off to the south by private industrial land.
Some construction work was going on but noisy only between 9 and 5. Nothing within walking distance but shuttle to airport is frequent. Less frequent (hourly) is shuttle to the shops in Burlingame where many good eateries are.

Read the fine print!Posted Aug 21, 2015
Cons: See abovel
The hotel itself was OK if the aim is to rest a few hours at a nearby place following a long airport trip. But I booked for two nights in between trips (on Aug 15th and then Aug. 31st) and then I had to cancel the second night due to a change of plans. I gave them plenty of notice -- about 10 days -- but they said I would not get reimbursed anything because I had booked a "no refund" room (I didn't know that when I booked and paid, perhaps it was written in the fine print). Expedia tried to phone the hotel so get at least a partial refund but the hotel said no. They could easily have done so without cost to themselves because when I booked the room I was told they had a full house and my room was the last one. In short -- probably my fault in the strict legal sense, but not the kind of service one expects from a top hotel that aims to accommodate the needs of customers.

Comfortable stay near the airportPosted Aug 18, 2015
Pros: Location, comfort, gym
Cons: There could be a wider variety of amenity or newspaper service considering the price
Location: Location is awesome especially with airport shuttle I enjoyed the street around the Burlingame.
Quiet and comfortable facility including the room and gym/pool. Always kept clean. The access is great too with airport shuttle. Nice running track along the beach and also Burlingame in just 15min walk. Good for a morning run/walk and breakfast at cafés.
