#8 is nice and old. Some musquitoes did come in. We kept the washroom door closed. Turn off the light there.
rooms are very nice especially on the 4th floor the breakfast buffet needs a lot of improving
It had a real heritage vibe(in a good way) . In a very quiet location but within 5-10 min to stores .
The room was great. The breakfast was great. I loved the ability to park there.
wendy's place is fantastic, clean, safe and close enough to the city to be both a great home base and romantic hideaway. this family run property was professional but homely and welcoming. i have nothing but praise for the little resort that they have created hear with modern and well kept accommodation ...
Gorgeous, quiet property located near amenities with absolutely fabulous service. We were consistently happy with everyone we interacted with, our food at the restaurant, and our general experience. We participated in a variety of off site tours (which were all well organized and interesting). I ...
Location, friendly service, food, currency exchange.
The rooms are pretty basic and there is quite a bit of noise from the street, but the location makes up for it. The National Theater is just around the corner, and it's on a pedestrian only shopping street with lots of entertainment.
great location.....noisy trains but they stop at night....Nice family hotel and home made breakfast and sw=owned by a family that cares I do not speak spanish but they were fine with understranding me and getting to right places. Just stay here no a/c and not necessary
Good with excellent service but septic system has a problem...so can't use toilet paper really. No train noise which is a bonus in SJ though the dance studio across the road does its best to compete.
The staff was very helpful to assist me in setting up my local Sim card. Also the breakfast was delicious and finding the fridge stocked with juice and beer and snacks was another nice touch.
I had a great experience in particular with reception and the breakfast bar staff. The breakfast included eggs made to order and was delicious! I would definitely recommend this hotel
Nice staff but facilities not great for the price. breakfast not great. could do better.
This place was awesome. We stayed in the end room, it had a patio that overlooked the kitchen. Loved the atmosphere and location. Breakfast was a nice bonus. Beds were a bit on the firm side and the building is older, but adequate. Loved it!
Super clean and the best friendliest accommodating staff.
Great hotel, which is a quality period building of interest. Dinning facitites have to be experienced - delightful.
The location is great. You can walk to most of the museums in dowtown san jose as well as el mercado central. Our room was huge and it had a jet tub! This surely was an extra bonus and the price was great.
