There is no ice machine in hall. Had to go down to kitchen to get a bag of ice. No exhaust fan in bathroom. Breakfast is really great. Sometimes had trouble with telephone to reach a hotel operator. Maid service was very good. Could not use fridge in room unless you posted your credit card for security ...
It is an old hotel but everything works well. The breakfests are great and the staff is very good.

Best location in San Jose. Beautifully restored hotel with the most professional and friendly staff I’ve experienced in the city. This is the only place I will stay moving forward. Great place overall.

The decor in the lobby was very modern. The area downtown where the hotel is is bustling, and I wouldn’t go out at night, but during the day it was good. Our room was huge and very clean. Absolutely no view whatsoever, but I was fine with that being in the middle of the city.
