Everything about the apartment was as presented and Adrian and Anna were very prompt and courteous in answering any questions we had. They are great landlords!
The view from the living room is even better than the pictures. We were lucky enough to be there during a full moon, and the moon rising over Balleno on the opposite shore was...

5/5 Excellent
"An extraordinary property, perched on a bluff overlooking Lake Como and the surrounding hills and mountains. Staff, room, food and just overall experience were all top notch. Haven't had breakfast yet, but I am sure that will be delicious, too!"
"Close to the ferry. Was perfect for our unplanned stop in Bellagio. Beautiful view of the lake. The blackout blind was perfect for a good night of sleep!"

"Great location, had a balcony with view of the lake. Room was tidy although older furnishings, bathroom was very clean, shower had great heated water. Breakfast daily was good. Staff were attentive and provided an overall great experience. Price is reflective of location and service level."
A verified traveler from OAK BROOK stayed at Hotel Barchetta Excelsior
"Great hotel and exceptional staff who could not do enough for us. 15 mins easy walk from the Lake itself and main attractions, shops, ferry port, bus station etc. Como is a terrific hub to get around the lake and beyond.
Our twin room was spacious with lots of amenities though area above desk could do with better lighting. Poor hairdryer but we had our own. Whole hotel was spotlessly clean. Great pool area too.
Reception, Dining Room Staff and the barman up on the rooftop pool were so lovely and helpful.
Plentiful breakfast choices and a warm welcome every morning.
Would recommend this hotel without hesitation

"Look no further the best 5 star property on lake como ( we visited a few)- stunning views, close proximity to local towns, amazing staff. I’m shocked to see any reviews less than 5 star - I consider myself a well travelled guest and this hotel goes above and beyond. "
