“The cottage is near a park and shops. It's well equipped and comfortable. Parking is across the road in a neighbour's driveway. The garden is down a little path and enclosed, with some lovely flowers and garden seating. It is a good base for Matlock and Bakewell area and other attractions. The only thing that needs is improving are the mattresses in the second bedroom as I could feel the springs.”

“A very clean, comfortable cottage, spacious and well equipped with everything that you need. Cosy and warm. Great walks from the door, beautiful area with all that the Derbyshire dales has to offer. There is a friendly pub across the road where we enjoyed a pint but only serving meals at weekends currently. 10 minute walk into the village where another pub, also friendly (the black swan) serves food but with a limited menu. There is an Indian restaurant where we enjoyed an excellent meal one of……

“Lovely holiday get away, horse stables on the working farm was lovely, was a shame my maltipoo dog did not feel the same way. Great value for money. Bottle of wine was very much appreciated.”
