The location of the property is great as it is across the beach. The pool was also good and we liked that music was playing. Our only critique was that we ate at the hotel restaurant the first night for dinner and the food was terrible. The fish was rubbery, the burgers had no flavor and the drinks were watered down. We would not stay there again but I am glad we tried it.

Food service was extremely slow. Very long lines to get seated for breakfast. Staff took a long time to place orders. Check in process took a very long time. There was always a long line at the front desk, even when we needed help with other things. Tried to call for room service and no one answered.

Musty, smelly rooms. AC is not working well. Staff ignores calls and when you text them like the automated call tells you to you still don't get responses. It's been two days here and I'm still waiting for responses to questions I had texted them. Very underwhelming for being a Hilton. I've stayed in other hotels that are close by for half the price that are much cleaner, nicer and friendlier.

I didn’t like the cold pool, it’s cold around Santa Barbara so they have to have heated pool,if they do then they should warm up more. My kids got both sick because of cold water and we couldn’t enjoy our stay that much. Prices are relatively high so they should accommodate people as much as possible including heated pool.
