This place is really nice and the staff was, mostly, great. I would highly recommend staying here. With that being said, there's always persnickety things that happen. They do not have very good EV charging. So, we were left scrambling to charge wherever we went. When we parked to grab something we left in our room we got a LOT of flack for parking the car, they wanted us to valet instead. It came across greedy and petty. Finally, when we checked in we unwound with a drink. Great bar, very nice. But, we paid $54 for two Woodfords. The entire bottle only cost $35 at the store. I know its LA, but come on...

"The Hostal is on one of the main roads that leads to the square and in walking distance of all main locations. The room is large and airy and the breakfast excellent. The host was great and was very helpful with everything."
