It’s right in the middle of the Boardwalk and downtown, there’s no kids allowed, there’s complimentary coffee, tea, and sodas. The house is beautiful with original stain glass windows. Our room (#5) had a shower in the room with a working fireplace and an AC unit. It also had its own stain glass window. We also had a mini fridge. The tv was easy to use. Overall I would stay there again. 🙂

Disappointed that fire places in 2 rooms were not functioning. Radiator heater not enough to keep the room warm. Cold air coming through the window closest to the bed & front porch.

While the property looks nice and was redone recently, the introduction from the staff in person included a story about the "Haunted" mansion and recalls a time when apparitions were seen. What the clerk didn't say in the introduction is that others had felt what seemed like an earthquake, and referred to that sensation when asked how they'd slept. The evening I stayed at the Rio Vista Suites, I was sitting on a bench in my room and felt a shaking that felt like a mild earthquake. I looked up the USGS site and saw zero activity in the area. The sensation repeated itself while in bed. The next morning when I reported this to the clerk, he chuckled and said several had asked about earthquakes that didn't exist. He said the apparitions he spoke about and even offered a printed story version about had no relevance to the experience I and others had, and there was nothing he would do about that disturbing situation that occurred during a personal family celebration.
