This property is using very misleading, outdated photos to represent itself. The exterior of the building and grounds are in need of deep cleaning and refreshing. As the former owner of a highly rated B&B I can comfortably state that guests do not appreciate surprises and lack of promised amenities.
We received a call at 5pm while on our way to the property concerning our "late" check in and to alert us that nobody would be there to check us in and that the advertised breakfast and late afternoon snack were not available. Except for the housekeeper who brought us a blow dryer and more coffee pods beyond the two left to begin with, we never saw any other employee the entire stay. We were informed that the $20 daily "resort" fee was waived, but this is no resort from an amenities perspective. There are none to speak of. It is as bare bones of an operation as you'll find.
Upon entry, our room looked like it had been emptied of all decor, art, draperies, etc. There was a couch placed in front of the TV and a small table, both looked like they came from a rummage sale. Not a single chair, coffee table, lamp, etc. Two odd nightstands and 70's vinta lamps ge flanked a cheap, poorly maintained mattress and bedding. The entire floor was covered by a stained, badly worn carpet that even a bad motel would be embarrassed to still have. I'd date it at 30 years or older. There is no built in heat in the room except for a small electric fireplace and poetable space heater. Be forewarned.
