"This is a wonderful old place but…you MUST have a car! We did not have one but it’s very inconvenient and expensive to get one to come up to this area. Also - there is no dinner service on Sunday evenings - which was the day we stayed here. The staff was SO amazing and do make us a charcuterie plate - and they were wonderful. "What a beautiful place! It’s a wonderful place to take the kids to just be kids and have fun. Our kids took riding lessons and a cooking course, both wonderful. We were too early to enjoy the pool, but that would have been a highlight too if open. We didn’t rent car for this trip, we wanted to force ourselves to just relax, but one would have been needed to explore more or a longer stay. The restaurant was perfect on-site - but make sure to book reservations daily, it gets busy at dinner! "

"Claudio the owner was very friendly and accommodating. The entire staff made us feel warm and welcome. The property was beautifully situated in the Tuscan hills. We had two dinners at their restaurant. Both were exceptionally delicious. We were fortunate to be there during grape harvesting and to also enjoy some of the best Chianti wine I have ever tasted. I would highly recommend Agriturismo Streda to anyone wanting to tour Tuscany!"
