Why Pacifico L103 in Coco Pacifico is the top residential vacation resort in Playas del Coco, with four swimming pools, a poolside restaurant/bar and beautifully tended gardens. There’s only one thing you’ll regret about staying at Pacifico, and that’s the day you have to leave! The positives: the interior of the condo is lovely and exactly as described and the swimming pool is a few steps out the back patio. The complex also has strong, reliable wifi. The negatives: the condo is not in Playa Hermosa. It is 20 minutes south in the town of Playa Del Coco. It is not on the beach in Coco either. It is a half mile (20 minute walk from the beach). After booking the condo, the property manager Special Places of Costa Rica sent me dozens of spam emails trying to sell additional items (tours, private chef, beach club access etc). One of those has the correct location of the condo. However, Special Places asks you to download and use their app which has a map showing the location as ON THE BEACH in Coco. We got very lost and were pretty disappointed by the distance of the actual complex. But don't worry, they will charge you $25 per person per day for shuttle service or $40 per day for a golf cart rental. The app also notes that the complex has items available for children - air bed, crib, and high chair. I requested these items and they were not available. The materials also say that there is a playground. It is on top of the mountain in the residential area of the complex - very far away. Basically - ignore the app and do not use it. Nothing but bad info. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a safe location with all the amenities you need. The beach club was well worth the money as well and not something we had planned until our arrival. Playa del coco is an amazing little town with very nice people. The condo was super convenient and being on the bottom floor, such easy access to the pool, we had a blast! Special Places offered solutions to every need we had! We live in the highlands of Costa Rica and wanted a little beach getaway. This was perfect for us. This time of year is relatively quiet at the beach, the weather was perfect, not too hot, and the accommodations were wonderful, clean, comfortable and beautiful. I loved that it was on the ground floor pool side. We couldn’t ask for more! The only issue is that this is not on Playa Hermosa, or a one minute walk to Playa Hermosa as stated in the description. It was so clean and well appointed. Having the pool at our doorstep was awesome, especially since it was so hot when we were here. The condo was beautiful and a terrific place to relax in the evening after a day at the beach. Kevin and Marisol were so helpful when we had questions, and so pleasant to deal with. Having access to the Pacifico Beach resort was excellent. The $25 per person entry fee that you get back in food and drink credits was a no brainer for us! The beach directly at the resort disappeared during high tide, but it was a short walk to get to a better spot. Having towel service and lounge chairs as well as good and drink was heavenly. Jose and Wendy were amazing and so friendly. If you stay here (you should!) Be sure to try Big Fingers coffee across the road from the Pacifico complex. The food and coffee were superb and the staff so, so friendly! This condo was truly AMAZING! Property management is onsite. Very easy to work with. The attention to detail the owner has put into making your stay comfortable is the best! The furnishings and decor are beautiful! Very neat and clean. The condo is well stocked for all of your stays needs be it in the kitchen, for your outings, at the pool, etc. It is a very social location right next to the pool and all of it's action. It's an easy walk to the grocery store and town for eating and shopping.
