The exterior has the classic motor lodge vibe and the room was recently refurbished with a modern look and lighting and very comfortable bed and recliner chair. The staff were friendly and helpful. It's a great place to stay after a day enjoying the river and charm of Salida."

"This is an older facility that is lovingly taken care of. I have stayed there several times. There is a wide variety of types of rooms and floor plans. Although they mention breakfast, it is prepackaged snacks in the office that are available at any time. I visit Salida regularly and this is my go to for a motel."
