“Overall, we had a great stay at the Hampton Inn in Salida. The room was clean, comfortable, and exactly what we needed. My only complaint would be the pillows, but that seems to be an issue with Hampton properties in general rather than something specific to this location. The breakfast was also what I’ve come to expect from Hampton: solid, convenient, and a nice way to start the day. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would stay here again.”

The price is affordable, so I wasn't expecting world class amenities, but I think a few things could go a long way when it comes to a stay. For sitting, your choice is a bed, two metal chairs inside, or a metal chair outside. On vacation, I would have loved something a little softer to sit on. I also would have loved some more counter space for our meds and toiletries. There's a perfect opportunity for this right by the bathroom in……
