“The room could have been a little cleaner. The breakfast didn’t have a ton but was able to hold us over until we got food elsewhere. The entrance/side entrance was a bit of a walk. Dog friendly! Had a mini fridge and microwave in the double queen rooms.”

“They made sure to message us about latest possible arrival times so that we didn’t show up too late. Provided a phone number to call about our eta. All was good at this place, and old-timers will enjoy the decor and look.”

“The air conditioner was rattling and very loud. There was something above the bathroom ceiling that sounded like water running that never shut off. When we came down at 8:30 to get breakfast and checkout there was no coffee in the breakfast area or lobby and they were out of eggs and waffle batter. The pool and hot tub were great and our room was very clean.”

“What a great location for exploring Salida, right on the river, just off F street. An unusual location on the second story of an historic building (only for those able and willing to climb the stairs to the units.) The rooms are nicely decorated, the beds are comfortable, the balcony looking over the river is a great place to enjoy the views. Good AC, and quiet. We feel so lucky we found this mini hotel which is run like an Airbnb. Easy to contact the manager who is very helpful.”

“The location and the view from my room was amazing. This place feels like the shining. The bed was decently comfortable, and the sheets looked clean. Other than that. Probably the worst room I’ve stayed in in a long time air conditioner doesn’t work half a roll of toilet paper with no spare no refrigerator although she did bring me one up to put my creamer in. I bought ice and iced it myself because none of the icemaker work”

“What a lovely experience. We booked when we were only about 3 hours away, and were able to immediately contact the host for access info. Beautiful, comfortable place with a very friendly host. We will definitely return.”
