"Very convenient location, super close to the MTR station and shopping malls. Staff were friendly and welcoming and there's free dispensable cold water available which was great. The room was very small but it was enough for what I needed and most importantly it was clean. Only negatives is the shower could do with a lightbulb as it was very dark and other guests can be quite loud sometimes."

"I've stayed at Ashoka Hostel before. If you are a budget traveler, I can't recommend this place enough. I needed a cheap place to stay while getting my visa updated last year. "I have stayed at this hotel previously and to be honest it was better first time round. The room was good although for the last couple of days it felt a bit damp. Although the staff have command of the English language (far better than my Chinese) they didn’t really listen to what you said and replied according to what they thought you said. It would have been better to ask me to repeat myself and talk more slowly to gain clarification. The housekeeping team were very polite and friendly. I would stay there again. "

"Rooms were clean and beds were comfortable. The hotel is conveniently located and attached to a mall with several food options and access to Mong Kok East MTR station. We traveled as a family of 4 and my kids loved the hotel pool. The pool is actually much larger than it appears in the photos on the website and we were pleasantly surprised at how nice both the pool and change areas were. I would definitely stay at this hotel again!"
