"This place is up higher than I had expected. The walk to dowtown is easy but I found the walk back up tough for my age. I took my car for the other days! We were 3 traveling together. "We stayed in a deluxe room and whilst it was kept clean by the staff, the room was tired and in need of some attention. It could also have done with some soft furnishings to make it feel a bit cosier. We did not eat breakfast at the hotel but went up to the bar for a drink. Lovely views of Palermo. Great location and close to bus routes and the airport bus stop was about a 1 minute walk away."

"This hotel was gorgeous!! Perfect beach, like a dream. The upgraded room was beautiful and worth every cent. The only reason I am rating this slightly lower, is because 60% of the staff is SO rude. To start off positive- the morning breakfast staff were so kind and welcoming. The beach bar staff- SO great! Maybe 1 of the receptionists and room service, also kind. Besides for that- never in my life have I stayed at such a beautiful hotel with such unfriendly staff. Practically anytime we would try to kindly ask for help (a taxi reserved, reservation at dinner, to pay the bill at the hotel restaurant), we were met with an eye roll and unfriendly reply. Not sure if it’s a cultural difference but it’s the first time I’ve ever experienced this in Europe or Italy specifically- so worth noting!! Still the pros outweighed the cons and we had a great time once we changed our expectations of the level of service. <3"
