Even though one might think appearance paints the picture, you would be surprised. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The eclectic decor was interesting and the breakfast served was enough to get the day started.

Beautiful hotel. Clean and staff was very friendly. Good breakfast. Beds were not comfortable for my husband and I though. The parking was limited but, there were trailers there due to dog sled races and snowmobiles. Parking lot was very icy too.

Everything about our stay was great. From missing our fist night due to the Mackinac Bridge closing - the staff was very accommodating when we contacted them - to checking in and out, etc.
I’ve read some negative reviews online and I don’t understand them - the hotel was clean, the breakfast buffet was very good, and the staff was friendly. We had zero trouble and will definitely plan to stay with them again.
