Very historical coaching inn, staff were very friendly and a very good breakfast. Rooms are a bit dated however this is a very histotical property so this partly to be expected. Very good breakfast and great location near to Heathrow.

I think this was our 10th stay at the Ostrich. It has become our lodging of choice when passing through LHR with an extra night. It’s way more fun than the big box hotels adjacent to the airport, and only a short Uber away. This time we splurged on the King John Suite, which truly spoiled us: spacious and wonderfully appointed. And as always the food in the pub was excellent. We’ll be back!

Ye Olde Ostrich never disappoints and it didn’t this time. This is a staple for me when catching an early flight or needing to leave a rental car when going into London. Top spot, great location, superbly staffed.

Good location close to Heathrow airport. I arrived late at 10.45 pm and could still check into my room and enjoy a pint before the bar closed. Very helpful staff, I left some items behind and Sarah kindly arranged to post them to me to my next address in England by next day delivery. Good breakfast as well.

You have got to be kidding! I booked this hotel for an overnight layover near Heathrow becuase it looked cute in the pictures. It's incredible. Built in 1106, it oozes history and charm. You are basically staying upstairs above a lively pub. Such great fish and chips and steak and Guiness pie! Also there is a bus line across the street that runs right into Heathrow terminal 5. That said- it is an old historical building so if you're interested in modern business stuff, it might not be for you.
