The reception was excellent, as was the bar and dining room. A really lovely home from home atmosphere. The room was clean, comfortable, and well equipped. I did have my car broken into whilst I was staying, that was nothing to do with the hotel, but just remember to remove all items of any value before you park up for the night. The welcome feeling at this hotel is fabulous and nothing is too much trouble for the very polite staff. I actually left my coat there by mistake and it was posted back to me the very next day at no charge fabulous customer service and an enchanting place to stay. Check in was quick and easy, my bags carried to my room. Tea, coffee available, freezing cold outside, though the room was quite warm enough. Good menu choice, good food, very pleasant staff. Fruit juice, cereal, full English available, poached eggs, all freshly cooked.
