Very historical coaching inn, staff were very friendly and a very good breakfast. Rooms are a bit dated however this is a very histotical property so this partly to be expected. Very good breakfast and great location near to Heathrow.

Liked everything about the place. So much character and history. Staff friendly and efficient. Room was really nice, had a good "feel" about it. Excellent shower, one of the best we have had in 6 weeks of touring Europe and Britain. Nice meal in the restaurant. Happy to recommend.

The entire hotel was decorated for Halloween which in the bedroom we personally found a cause of anxiety as like sleeping in a nightmare setting of a murder scene. We totally understand the Halloween theme in the bar area but it’s way too much in the bedrooms as meant to be your own relaxing personal space!

I think this was our 10th stay at the Ostrich. It has become our lodging of choice when passing through LHR with an extra night. It’s way more fun than the big box hotels adjacent to the airport, and only a short Uber away. This time we splurged on the King John Suite, which truly spoiled us: spacious and wonderfully appointed. And as always the food in the pub was excellent. We’ll be back!

Ye Olde Ostrich never disappoints and it didn’t this time. This is a staple for me when catching an early flight or needing to leave a rental car when going into London. Top spot, great location, superbly staffed.
