The hotel is undergoing renovations and on the first day it sounded like someone was hammering our wall for the better part of the day. No accommodations were offered and the front desk initially denied construction.
We decided to give it another day and when we returned to the room in the evening, the bathroom smelled like natural gas. We were told it was the laundry room next door and that there weren’t any gas lines on that side of the hotel. Naturally we were very uncomfortable with our room smelling like natural gas and asked for a refund. They offered to move us into a smaller room with less beds than what we needed or air fresheners but then eventually were able to get a full refund. The fridge, outlets and phone didn’t work in the room, I would not recommend this hotel until it is fully remodeled. I did give an additional star (2) for being refunded.
