"We had the BEST time ever at this property. The staff, food, spa, rooms, everything was on spot. The breakfast buffet was unbelievable and when I asked about gluten and dairy free options the chef had every morning baked gluten free amazing buns. The spa was amazing. We stayed 3 nights and wanted to stay more, thanks again for having us. "

"I had a great time staying at The Royal Park Kyoto Umekoji! My friend and I stayed for four nights. It is located in a nice quiet area of Kyoto and it is directly across the street from Umekoji station (just one station stop away from Kyoto Station). The cleanliness of the room left a little to be desired. There was still a few pieces of hair on the floor from previous guests, but nothing too abhorrent. "We really loved it. Super spacious, very friendly staff. Room came with kitchen, fridge, freezer, microwave and toaster. The only negatives was the washer dryer was difficult to use (takes a long time to dry, and can only do very small loads), but it washes fine if you air dry and there was a laundromat across the street. The shower head settings are a bit wonky too. Overall though, we loved it and would stay here again! "
