Our favorite place to stay

Our visit to Southport was terrific. A little inconvenient with surprise repairs to the elevator, but we managed fine. Best for us and my son lives just down the street. Thanks, Cindy

Best equipped and clean home we have stayed in.

Location is great ,easy walk to hang out in Southport restaurants and bars.Simple drive to get on Both ferries and local beach’s.Good views of the intercostal ,marine action and lighthouses. Spent 7 nights here and was wanting to stay more.

Fall Getaway

This was our first visit, but not the last! Pleasantly surprised at the beautiful view from the large porch and enjoying the boat launch activity in the harbor. The interior was nicely furnished and with all the necessary appliances, cooking and dishware. Highly recommend!

We love staying at Pelican Harbor Laura and Randy are wonderful to their guests. They are always accommodating and very easy to get in touch with. I love that pets are welcome. We will definitely be back!

Return Visit

We return to Southport every 6 months or so and always stay at Pelican Harbor. We love it here. It is a nice unit, well maintained, a nice view of the harbor, walkable to town and restaurants, and a short drive to the beach. Laura and Randy are always gracious hosts and accessible if we have a question or need help. 5 star!!!!

Perfection

The property was perfect with a bunch of extra touches by the host. The king bed was comfy with plenty of blankets and pillows. The living room was roomy with a large TV and open to the kitchen and dining room. The two balconies were large, with great views. And there was even a nice carport and elevator. Within walking distance to everything. HIGHLY recommend.

Third stay--always a wonderful experience

We are a retired couple and small, elderly dog who have stayed at Pelican Harbor three times since 2020. Each time the unit is clean and comfortable. Laura, our hostess and her husband Randy, leave personalized welcome gifts including the most wonderful soaps that she makes herself. My husband has developed health problems so we depend on the elevator, recliner and proximity to dialysis treatment to enjoy our stay. You also can't beat the entertainment at the marina!

Happy Place

We stayed at Pelican’s Harbour for our 25th anniversary. The condo is perfectly located across from a marina. The deck/veranda is the perfect place for coffee in the morning watching boats go out and a cocktail in the evening watching them come back again. Within walking distance of all restaurants and shopping, we opted to rent a golf cart. There is even electrical outlet in the parking area for recharging the battery! The unit has dedicated covered parking and there is an elevator for ease of bringing in your luggage and such! Decorated throughout delightfully with a coastal theme. And the kitchen is fully stocked with anything you may need for eating in! The owner was easy to contact throughout the entire process-answering all my questions before our trip and responding while we were there. We have found a new happy place!

This location is amazing! The views are incredible and the amenities were endless. Clean,modern and uncluttered but yet everything you could need. Beach chairs and towels were so handy for the beach. Restaurants and shops within walking distance. So many activities close by. Loved hanging out on the balcony watching the boats and walking the pier. Laura has thought of everything and I loved the guest book with all the repeat visitors it definitely is comfortable and inviting!

If Southport is your destination and you are looking for a condo with fantastic views and everything you will ever need then do not hesitate. This place has it all and so central for walking to bars and restaurants. Highly recommend Pelican Harbor II.

Beautiful view and deluxe condo

This is a very nicely furnished condo on the Southport waterfront across from the marina. Has a really nice covered porch with table and chairs. The building has an elevator. The hosts are very responsive. They have a lot of nice perks to make your stay effortless and a stocked kitchen. There’s a covered parking space which has easy access to the elevator. The host also provides a small grocery cart that was fabulous to be able to get our items to and from the car. Highly recommend this location.
