“Cheap and cheerful”

“I stayed at Woodstock Suites and Inn for one night, and unfortunately it was one of the worst hotel experiences I have had. From the moment we arrived, the staff's attitude was unprofessional and unwelcoming. They were not courteous, and their appearance did not reflect the standards you would expect from a hospitality business. The room itself was unacceptable. There was a strong unpleasant odor as soon as we entered. Even worse, we found cockroaches in the room, which immediately raised……

“Very clean property. Reasonable prices for the level of clean. Would definitely stay again. The manager who works and runs the day time operations is very nice. The cleaning staff is prompt and efficient. If you request a garbage emptied or more towels they tend to it immediately. You can see the pride the staff take in a job that is often overlooked and never easy. The daily breakfast is very nice and organized and both ladies who ran it were very nice. Choices such as cinnamon buns, a cool……

“Just as listed and good location ”

“This stay was as advertised. Our group rented 2 of 3 bunkies on the property and had no issues. We didn’t explore the property very much as we spent our days at nearby beaches. I didn’t clue in that it was a shared, stand alone bathroom/shower central to the 3 bunkies (I thought they were attached and private) but likely I didn’t read thoroughly enough. Host was friendly, responsive, and had more amenities available than expected. If the forecast calls for hot weather, be sure to bring fans!”

“The outdoor experience was fantastic. The cabin is very charming and the sleeping accommodations in the loft are comfortable. A few recommendations: bring a big cooler because the fridge is very small and it takes a long time to get cold. Think about things that don’t require electricity or that can easily cook on the BBQ. The cabin has a small power bank, but it runs out of power very quickly. We tried making espresso using a small electric coffee machine, and it just drained the power bank……

“I chose this property for proximity and price. The door to the room didn't close well. The TV didn't work, (beware when you see two remotes for one TV). The room lighting were 5 or 6 very bright ceiling pot lights. There was a lamp, but it didn't work. So it was ALL or nothing when it came to room light. The train tracks are very close by. There was a stack of old and sad used mattresses at the back of the building. (No one needs to see that.) HOWEVER, the price was right and it was almost all……
