“Romantic and relaxing with great views of the jungle and ocean. Room could use a little TLC with things like a broken soap dish in the shower, but we are an active outdoor couple and don't need grand comfort. You are in the tropical jungle so expect bugs. “The actual location and property is 10/10. I love the peace and quiet and non-touristy vibe of the place. Rooms were huge and airy and have that amazing old colonial architectural feel to it. My only issue is that the breakfast sucks big time. No local breakfast was available. Being away from the restaurant and options - I was forced to eat dry bread and halved cook plantain and eggs. “We stayed in Cabana #1. The room was clean. The bed was comfortable and the A/C ran great. The room was cleaned every other day and the sheets and towels were changed on the 4th day. The restaurant was good but the service was very slow. The setting was very nice (the hotel is part of a marina). There is a pool, but it was being resurfaced when we were there. We would stay there again.”
