Convenient location but too much light in the room

Pros: Exterior was freshly painted, with large parking lot. Room had a refrigerator. The complimentary breakfast included fresh fruit and fresh waffles
Cons: There could be more backing on the curtain so no light comes into the room when the curtain is drawn.
Location: The hotel is located right off I-95 and very convenient to St. Augustine. The Old City, Castillo San Marcos, and nearby beaches are major attractions
The exterior of the hotel has been renovated, and looks nice. The neighborhood is safe. The complimentary breakfast includes fruit and fresh waffles. The room was clean, with a refrigerator. And the air conditioner was not noisy. However, the curtain didn't keep out the light from the parking lot. If you need a darker room for sleeping soundly you will be disappointed. The main section of the curtain allowed no light to pass, but a foot at the top and a foot at the bottom didn't have the necessary backing to keep out the light. So, light comes into the room throughout the night.

Smelled old

The room had an old smell, the shower head was broke, there was little water pressure. The beds were wore out we slept on top of the blankets. We didn't eat breakfast there because we were so ready to go. #neveragain

Nice hotel, close to my Doctor at Mayo

Arrived a little early but the clerk let me sign in as there was a room ready. Very nice setup for breakfast.

Great location, terrible hotel!

The staff was very nice but the rooms were bad. We had to change rooms twice because the toilets didn't work. Even in the third room my husband had to fix the toilet several times. With some major cleaning and repairs it would be much better. Great location though!

DISGUSTING

Pros: NOTHING
Cons: It should be demolished.
Location: Close to historical sites and running water that is not brown.
I chose this place because I was waiting to move into my new home and it was not to far from my job. I also picked this place because if I could move in earlier, it was supposedly a "REFUNDABLE" charge, so I paid for 5 days. I got there, the lock on the door was broken, (What a comfort that is being a single woman with a non-lockable hotel room door). I wanted out immediately when they moved me to the room next door but they were going to charge me for 1 night, so I stayed. The place was FILTHY, the staff, especially VINNY, was rude, there were cockroaches and I just wanted to go sleep in my car. After 2 nights, I wanted to check out and went to the front desk. I was greeted kindly for the first 30 seconds by the night clerk until I told her I wanted to check out and wanted my money back. She got nasty real fast and said I would have to talk to "VINNY" about the REFUNDABLE hotel i booked. it was FRUITLESS. I wasn't getting a dime back and they made sure of that. The noise was horrible, there was broken glass in the parking lot and the service, iuf you want to call it that, was deplorable.

We checked you in earlier than check in time at your request and that was the only room available that time. But soon as the other room available change your room to your satisfaction. Stinky room. Terrible bed.

First room was so stinky I could not stay there. Requested another room, and it was smelly also but not as bad as the first. Bed was terrible.

God awful

Terrible room, microwave duct taped, burn in blanket, squishy floor, AC face falling off, TV Stand blocking half of the wall mirror, alarm not plugged in, bleachy smell without really being clean and the clothes rack had been pulled from the wall and reattached without the patch work being repainted. Never again.
